Description of What you will be doing:

Facelift project for the all-purpose room vital to the youth program at the Salvation Army. Duties will include painting, re-facing floor and other cosmetic projects for the space.

Bethesda Project

Broad Street, Philadelphia

Description of Organization:

The mission of Bethesda Project is to find and care for the abandoned poor and to be family with those who have none.


Description of What you will be doing:

Volunteers will bring breakfast foods, then prepare/serve lunch at this residence for once homeless men and women. Volunteers will perform small cleaning chores – supplies will be provided; read from Dr. King’s book “Why We Can’t Wait” and celebrate the holiday with songs and music. All ages welcome.

Up to 20 people

CHOC serves homeless adult men and women in Montgomery County.

Description of What you will be doing:

Bowling with Homeless adult men and women. Spend time getting to know them and making them feel at home.

  1. Drop off your donations in the lobby on Saturday from 9am-1pm, or outside the front doors in the bin during the week .

  2. Sort Donations and stock some shelves.

The New Beginnings Ministry is a partnership with Your Way Home – a Montgomery County organization that helps place homeless individuals into a home of their own. Mission - to help those that have been recently placed into a home to become successfully housed and able to develop relationships with people that care and can be helpful to their new start by providing needed resources and networking to connect them to Christian communities who will walk along side them.

Put together gift baskets and deliver them to individuals and families of the Your Way Home program.
